The new four-day film and music festival .
It is a sister event to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, and is a partnership between Redford, Sundance Institute and AEG Europe.
The event will feature UK premieres of films from the main festival, which takes place in January, as well as live music performances, discussions and panels.
For the opening evening, Redford and Burnett will share recollections of their careers in a conversation moderated by author Nick Hornby.
AEG Europe chief finance and strategy officer Alex Hill said: "Having Robert Redford and T Bone Burnett with Nick Hornby open Sundance London is a real coup for the event. Between them, Robert and T Bone have a wealth of experience and knowledge of contemporary American film and music that few could rival."
Tickets for Sundance London will be on sale from 28 November.
