Richard and Judy viewing stats hit all time low

LONDON - Richard and Judy could face the axe from UKTV's Watch after their chat show viewing figures fell to a low of 8,000 on Monday.

The married presenting duo moved to the UKTV cable and satellite channel, co-owned by Virgin Media and BBC Worldwide, from Channel 4 where they produced their teatime chat show for seven years.

They quit the channel in 2008 when their £3m pay deal expired and moved to the recently re-branded in a much-publicised move.

The decision was thought to be financially-motivated as commentators predicted their two million-strong C4 audience would fall to 400,000 at UKTV.

Less than four months after their show began on the channel viewing figures continued to fall.

At the beginning of this year the show moved from the 8pm to 6pm timeslot after viewing figures released in December put it at the bottom of the pile against its closest rivals with a 0.06% share.

During their time at Channel 4 the pair launched their highly successful .
