EAS will use its own high security event accreditation system, Accredit, to scrutinise all non-ticketed personnel from security and service contractors to entertainers, media, support crew and players for up to 30 events a year.

The system has previously been used at events including the UK Labour Party Conference, the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, London Fashion Week and IDEX.

It will make its debut at the first QBE International between England and Fiji on 10 November.

Peder Berg, EAS managing director, said: "We are delighted that the RFU has put its trust in EAS to totally upgrade its accreditation platform. This is a fantastic project for us, not least because the RFU is a world-class national sports governing body and Twickenham Stadium is an iconic venue."

Richard Knight, RFU stadium director, added: "Due to the scale and profile of the events which take place at Twickenham Stadium it is essential that we have an efficient accreditation system. With an impressive track record of accrediting major international events and its highly advanced Accredit system, EAS was a natural choice to manage and implement a new vetting process for the stadium."
