LONDON (Brand Republic) - Reuters is set to team up with UK online music magazine Worldpop.com in an attempt to attract a younger audience.
The deal will allow Reuters to provide pop news and gossip over the internet. The company is also believed to be in talks with other third parties to provide online entertainment and fashion content.
Analysts criticised the company last year for failing to outline an internet strategy. Since then, chief executive Peter Job has driven the company into new online markets and Reuters is now the largest supplier of content to the internet.
