Reeser returns to Landor as San Fran managing director

SAN FRANCISCO - Design and marketing veteran Courtney Reeser has rejoined Landor as managing director of the firm's San Francisco office.

For the past three years Reeser, 51, has been Interbrand's chief creative officer. Prior to leaving Landor in 2000, Reeser had been with its San Francisco office for seven years, ultimately serving as executive creative director. While there, he led teams that created branding solutions for local and international clients including Tommy Hilfiger, FedEx and BP.

In his new role, Reeser will oversee client work and operations for Landor's San Francisco and Irvine offices.

According to Reeser: "Companies choose Landor because we are uniquely qualified to address their branding needs from start to finish. But they come back because of the relationships we build with them -- the people and teams at Landor earn our clients' trust."

Overseeing Landor's largest office, Reeser will work closely with the firm's new CEO Craig Branigan, who is also San Francisco-based and recently assumed the additional title of chairman.

"Landor's current and prospective clients are investing more aggressively in their brands again, so it's imperative that Landor has a well-respected industry leader with an intimate understanding of our clients' needs and the value of Landor," Branigan said. "Courtney is an accomplished designer and a strong leader who really understands what Landor is about -- we are thrilled to have him back on board at this critical time of growth."

With more than 20 offices in 16 countries, Landor is a division of WPP Group's Young & Rubicam and its clients include Frito-Lay, BP, Skyy Vodka, Charles Schwab and Procter & Gamble.
