Agency Produce transformed into a decadent Roman arena dressed in imperial drapes and animal skins to celebrate the series, which airs on the new look Bravo on 25 May.
Around 400 guests, including members of the press and stars of the show, tucked into a cornucopia of meats, suckling pigs, piles of fruit and cheeses accompanied by torn hunks of artisan bread.
Centurions in full battle costume, complete with chained Neapolitan Mastiff flanked the entrance, while slave girls served drinks from carafes and bunches of grapes injected with vodka.
To add to the drama fighting Gladiators staged choreographed battles on the dance floor as guests competed to ‘win' a cage full of bound slaves.
"An epic drama like Spartacus deserved an epic event, something really special and different that would set Bravo apart from the competition and keep people talking. The detail and quality of all the elements, from the impressive venue, authentic food and ornate dressing to the sword fighting and ‘slave' cage, really reflected the quality and standard of the new look Bravo," said Bravo senior PR manager Jakki Lewis.
