
The road-side recovery brand is holding a series of drive-in movie events in August, which feature box office smashes and iconic films.
The events will be held at Weston Park, outside Birmingham and Alexandra Palace in London.
'Dirty Dancing', 'The Italian Job' (1969) and 'Transformers' will screen at both venues and tickets are available through its .
RAC is rewarding its members with tickets priced at £15 while non-members will be charged £30. One ticket wil admit one car and movie-goers will also receive two free portions of popcorn and two free drinks. RAC Members will also be entitled to "additional perks".
RAC is supporting the activity with a Movie Moments competition hosted on its website.
Consumers are invited to re-create their own favourite film scenes to be in with a chance of winning a trip for two to Los Angeles, along with the winning entry pre-viewed at each RAC Drive-in Movie event.
Chris Bates, head of marketing at RAC, said: "We know that congestion, potholes and the cost of fuel can make driving anything but enjoyable at times, so we're launching RAC Drive-in Movies to help put a little bit of fun back into the driving experience this summer.
"The events are all about creating unique nights out where everyone can enjoy a truly pleasurable experience from the comfort of their car."
Drive-in Movies will be held at Weston Park for three nights from 5-7 August and at Alexandra Palace for three nights from 12-14 August. Up to 200 cars will be permitted at Weston Park and 100 cars at Alexandra Palace.
