Quorn seeks to broaden appeal beyond vegetarians

LONDON - Quorn is preparing a direct marketing push to extend its appeal beyond its traditional vegetarian market.

The Marlow Foods-owned vegetarian food brand has picked DM agency Fenix to handle the summer-time activity, which will look to cash in on the barbecue season.

Quorn is planning a mail-out to Marlow's customer database, as well as extensive on-pack and sales promotion activity. It is also considering offering recipe ideas to broaden its use.

Fenix will work alongside Quorn's ad agency, J Walter Thompson.
