The Queen's face was projected onto Buckingham Palace on 19 - 21 April as part of a Guinness World Record Attempt.

The 3D video artwork featured 32 animated portraits of the Queen, each made up of thousands of portraits of children’s faces compiled by artist Ross Ashton of The Projection Studio.

As reported in Event, the project was attempting to break the At least 28,267 images are needed to break the record.

More than 200,000 children submitted their self-portraits, breaking the record.

The Face Britain project was run by The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts and is the first time video projections have been used on the palace.
