The three ads for Computer Cab, created by Radioville, will break next week and encourage listeners to save the company's phone number in their mobile phone to avoid being caught without a black cab.
The ads feature Daniels, who is famous for his Cockney geezer accent as heard on Blur's hit song 'Parklife', reading definitions from the mythical 'Book of the London Road'.
One ad warns against becoming a "grim leaper", defined as a "frown on legs, seething with repressed anger from taking responsibility for everything, no one understanding their inner turmoil, and why can they never get a taxi when they want one".
A second ad talks about the "whirliggle", "an hysterical frantic jerking fiend", and another about "the blue elephant", "pockets flapping in the breeze as they try to scrape together enough money to hail a taxi".
The ads will run throughout the day on London News Radio, which was recently acquired by Chrysalis, and will also feature as a sponsorship package for the finance programme Money News.
Radioville's Richard Johnston wrote the ads, which were directed by Alex Burrett.
More recently, Daniels has starred in Sky One's comedy 'Time Gentleman, Please' and Tony Marchant's BBC drama 'Holding On'.
