Publicis lands $300m US media account for banking giant

NEW YORK – JP Morgan Chase has awarded its $300m (£160m) US media planning and buying account to Publicis Groupe's Zenith Media, according to reports.

Zenith Media beat Carat and Media Planning Group to the account, which has been swelled by July's merger between JP Morgan Chase and Bank One. The merged company retained the JP Morgan Chase name.

Prior to the review, JP Morgan Chase's media was handled by Interpublic's Initiative and Bank One's media by Carat, part of the Aegis network.

The client appointed McGarry Bowen, New York, to its retail banking creative account in August.
