
The firm’s brief was to provide a backdrop for the Tattoo, which is set in a new £16m amphitheatre for 2011, with new seating tribunes, VIP boxes and a large corporate hospitality area.
This year the Royal Navy is the Tattoo’s lead service, so many of the visual materials relate to the sea, including giant sea dragons, kelpies, fishing boats, and shipwrecks.
The Tattoo opened on 5 August and will conclude tomorrow evening (27 August).
