Project's issue five "summer movie blowout!" gyroscope cover also features characters from films 'X-Men' and 'The Hangover Part II'.
The culture, entertainment, business, travel and design iPad-only magazine is created by Virgin Digital Publishing and Seven. It launched in November last year.
The issue is available to download now from the Apple store. It utilises iPad 2's new gyroscope feature, which allows readers to view a panoramic, animated landscape by moving the device 360 degrees.
Seven, formerly known as Seven Squared, said the cover had been designed to "give Project magazine readers an even more entertaining, interactive experience".
Chris Bell, deputy editor of Project, said: "Because most other publishers are creating iPad versions of their magazines, there tends to be a lot of reproductions and use of video content. But because we're building the magazine from the ground up, we're forced to look at the latest technology such as gyroscope."
According to Seven, Project is regularly listed as one of the App Store's "what's hot" apps.
At Apple's , Apple used Project to showcase its capability.
T3, Virgin America, Audi, Becks, Ford and Nissan are among the brands that have placed ads in the latest issue.
