
The festival, which runs from 2-4 July, ahead of the Tour de France Grand Départ, wlll be held around two main business hubs at The Carriage Works in Leeds and the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. York and Harrogate will also host events for the north Yorkshire community.
To showcase Yorkshire's rich heritage of textile production, a two-day textile showcase and a one-day fashion show around the theme of 'cycling to work' will take place, with a hands-on workshop called 'PicKnit', with the aim of encouraging visitors to learn to knit.
The Retail Innnovation Summit, taking place on 2 July, will look at how consumer trends, the digital landscape and the global marketplace are influencing new ways to connect with consumers and drive growth. An Innonvation Expo will also bring together the best of now and the future in a showcase of engineering design, technology and excellence in innovation.
Food and drink will also be under the spotlight as part of a 'meet the buyer' showcase in Leeds to connect the best of food and drink from the Yorkshire and Humber region with international buyers.
