Prize pot keeps dropping as housemates do Glastonbury

LONDON - 'Big Brother' housemates have lost more of the prize money as they failed another task, with £26,000 gone from the original £100,000 as the festival spirit was brought to the house in the latest task.

Victor lost the housemates the latest cash, losing another £3,000 of the prize fund after failing part of their fourth live challenge, the "Human Games", which tested intelligence, skill and strength.

Victor lost the cash after he failed the intelligence test, in which he had to unscramble an anagram of the word 'bankrupt', which is what the housemates could end up as little by little the original £100,000 prize dribbles away, raising the spectre that the eventual winner could walk away with nothing.

Maybe the housemates will have more luck with the latest challenge, which sees housemates stage a mini-Glastonbury festival complete with their own chemical loo, much to the disgust of hairdresser Dan, who has already threatened to quit over the toilet issue.

Not only do housemates have to use the chemical loo like so many visitors to Glastonbury have done over the years, but, indignities of indignities, they have been limited to just two sheets of toilet paper on each visit to the portaloo.

Dan told fellow housemates that the loo situation was beyond the pale: "I'm not using that toilet. I shall be leaving. It's outrageous."

To bring it closer to the festival reality, the cooker has also been switched off, the shower is a no go area, and tea and coffee have been replaced with herbal tea.

The rock band challenge calls for the housemates to put on wigs and pick up their instruments in 20 seconds when 'Big Brother' plays a riff.
