Bird and Woodington will share responsibility for the direct marketing agency's creative work, as well as working on individual client briefs.
Bird first worked with Woodington at Maher Bird Associates in 1995 before the company was bought by Omnicom in 1997.
They later worked as the senior creative team at Partners BDDH between 1997 and 1998.
The duo then set up their own company Cold Eye with Maher Bird planning partner Mark Tomblin, where they managed to secure BBC, Britannia and Thorpe Park among their clients.
Cold Eye closed in 2001 and Woodington and Bird set up creative media agency Flint.
Woodington said: "Working with Phil was, and is, a constant inspiration. He has this knack of being able to maximise the quality of thinking and execution with an apparently minimum amount of effort. As people here are discovering, he is a joy to have around."
Bird added: "The work here is varied, ranging from classic direct marketing to ground-breaking digital, and they use their data very creatively and intelligently. I'm looking forward to helping raise the bar on existing business and attracting new clients."
Presky Maves clients include AXA Sun Life, Beachcomber Hotels, Betfair, Co-operative Financial Services, Glenfiddich, NTL and the Post Office.
