In the wake of Monday's social media outage, the Post Office seized the moment to claim it is the original network with an OOH campaign.
In a timely response to Facebook's glitch, which also resulted in WhatsApp and Instagram being unavailable for several hours, the Post Office jumped on the opportunity to highlight that its traditional messaging service doesn't leave millions unable to post.
Written simply across the Post Office's iconic red, the poster campaign says "Social Post" with the first word crossed out. It was created by Ogilvy’s Ollie Jarrott and is initially featuring on Clear Channel sites across London, followed by a nationwide rollout.
