From a poll of more than 3,000 UK adults, it looks like Ashes sponsors are getting just what they've paid for. Main series sponsor Npower is in a clear lead, with team sponsor Vodafone also doing well.

In the TV stakes, Sky's Brit Insurance leads the charge, with Five's Wolf Blass running second, while Specsavers is holding its own with small share, but less layout, having smartly alligned itself with Sky's Hawk-Eye.

Methodology: Media Week ran the question "Which brand do you most associate with the current Ashes test series?" across Facebook, targeting UK male adults only, on Thursday, 23 July - 3,390 people responded to the question.
