Pizza Express redesigns salad dressing range

LONDON - Pizza Express has redesigned its range of salad dressings through The Grocery Company.

The range, which is also sold and marketed by The Grocery Company, has been given a striking new image which mirrors its pizza packaging. The new bottles will line up on supermarket shelves from March 2008.

The bold blue packaging will help consumers to more easily identify the Pizza Express range of dressings, which are exactly the same as those used in 341 Pizza Express restaurants across the UK.

Simon Barnett, head of Grocery for Pizza Express, said: "The great news is that more and more consumers are enjoying our salad dressings, bringing the Pizza Express restaurant experience home.

Ben Johnson, marketing director for The Grocery Company, said: "The new look packaging will certainly draw the attention of 87% of the population who are aware of Pizza Express restaurants and we look forward to the positive impact on sales."
