L’Oréal is holding briefings with WPP and Dentsu Aegis Network this week for its £160m media business. Publicis Media and the7stars were part of the process at an earlier stage. Group M’s Wavemaker is the incumbent.
Agencies vying for the Centrica integrated account are meeting with the brand for briefings this week, after tissue meetings took place at the beginning of last month (5 April). A team involving the incumbent advertising and media agencies, The & Partnership and MediaCom, along with Wunderman Thompson, is competing against a McCann Worldgroup-led team and another from Publicis Groupe.
Bupa has shortlisted Havas, MullenLowe London and Pablo for its review. The healthcare group is searching for a shop to work on a marketing project that will run alongside its main advertising. It will not impact its 20-year relationship with Engine. ISBA is assisting with the process, which is being handled by Bupa head of marketing strategy and planning Angelique Waker. Bupa met agencies this week, with the next stage of the process taking place in mid-May.
Virgin Experience Days held tissue meetings last week for its creative account. Pitches took place yesterday with Above & Beyond, Atomic and Snap London. The winning shop will work with the company on a project basis. Creativebrief is assisting with the process.

E.ON, the energy company, is holding a pitch for its centralised European above-the-line and below-the-line business. Interested agencies were asked to include UK thinking at chemistry meetings last week, but sources said the process does not affect agency relationships in local markets. The review is being run centrally out of E.ON’s German headquarters.
LG Electronics has called a review of its global media business. Havas Group Media has held the global LG media account outside the US since 2013, when the South Korean electronics and appliance giant shifted the bulk of global media duties over from Mindshare. Havas declined to repitch.

Toyota GB has picked The & Partnership to manage its CRM strategy, creative and design, and AKQA to work on its digital transformation and experience design. It follows a four-way competitive pitch, which ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 revealed in February. There was no incumbent. The & Partnership already handles Toyota's advertising and media planning and buying.
Evergreen Garden Care has handed its UK retail marketing account to Geometry UK as it plans to become a "clear leader in the garden care category". The agency will work across brands including Miracle Gro, Roundup, Weedol and Levington. The brand previously worked with a number of agencies.
