Party-goers were greeted by real life zombies and the mad vicar of the church – a box of ghastly props courtesy of World of Fun and Creative Collection helping them get in the spirit of the hint of horror dress code.
Hosts Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee quizzed guests including Henry Holland, Lydia Rose Bright and Chloe Madeley at their themed tables nestled among gravestones and a mysterious low-lying fog.
Teams were tested on their knowledge of scary movies and ghoulish TV shows to highlight the range of horror, supernatural and Halloween-inspired content available on Virgin Media’s TiVo service this month.
On the menu from event caterer The Recipe were ‘killer calzones’ bursting with blood-red tomato sauce, popping shrimp ‘eyeballs’, chicken ‘severed finger’ skewers and shots of Frankenstein’s own-recipe pumpkin soup, all washed down with MoTiVo cocktails.
After the quiz, guests took to the dancefloor to shake their bones to a Halloween soundtrack paying homage to the best horror themed tunes.
