Hosted in Westfield London, the event saw Geller teach members of the public the art of thumbprint-melting utensil-distortion, before he bent his one millionth spoon, given to him by Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor.
After the spoon-bending session finished, Geller signed autographs and took ‘spoon selfies’ with fans.
The free breakfast get-together, conceived by agency Taylor Herring PR, was designed to promote Kellogg’s . It also featured the unveiling of the 'Throne of Spoons', a custom-designed chair constructed from 2,000 spoons, which took Geller and the Kellogg’s design team two months to build.
Louise Thompson Davies, brand PR manager at Kellogg’s, said: "What a fantastic morning. We were thrilled that Uri could join us and everyone had such a great time. We hope everyone now picks up their personalised spoon to enjoy their cereal with."
Geller added: "I can’t believe I bent my one millionth spoon today. It was great to share such a moment – and a Kellogg’s breakfast - with the public and I hope they learnt just how powerful their minds really are."
