The skeletons marched through the City of London led by a hearse flying a blow-up tombstone that read 'RIP Hidden Fees’. They travelled from Bank to the city's tech centre in Old Street, where the company claims it has ‘laid misleading price claims to rest’.
The stunt was generated and managed in-house, with House of Experience assisting with its implementation.
Joe Cross, head of consumer marketing at TransferWise, said: "Banks have been screwing over consumers for far too long. We’re calling for fairer pricing in FX and yesterday’s stunt was our way of bidding farewell to hidden fees and welcoming a new era of transparency."
