The annual Relentless Live event, , showcased talent from the brand’s Here To Be Heard competition, which gives young people the chance to get exposure for their work. This included DJ winner Luke Hassan, who opened proceedings with his trademark deep house/indie mash-up to get the crowd going, as well as music group Huxtable, a two-piece who won the competition ahead of hundreds of other bands.
Kent music group Slaves took to the stage to blast out a high-energy performance, followed by Relentless ambassador and Radio 1 DJ, Zane Lowe, who played a set before Scottish rock legends Biffy Clyro took to the stage. The group performed a 75-minute set, which included such hits as Black Chandelier, Bubbles, Biblical and Mountains.
The night was rounded off with a performance from Tieks, who was joined by electro two-piece Arkon Fly to close the night with an electro, funk and house set.
Entertainment agency Vision Nine delivered and executed Relentless Live 2014. The company also managed all sponsorship and music strategy for the brand. The event was supported by a PR and social campaign, handled by Radiator PR, and creative design and content was developed by Resistance Partners.
Sam Grant, Relentless marketing manager, said: "Relentless Live is the finale that brings together all our year’s activities such as Relentless Ultra presents Soundchain on MTV, which our ambassador Zane Lowe presented and amazing acts, including the awesome Biffy, told their stories of how they committed their lives to making their dream a reality.
"To actually be able to have Biffy play Relentless Live is the best possible end to an amazing year for us."
