In pictures: Push creates festival-inspired showcase for PlayStation

Experiential agency Push created a two-day activation for games console PlayStation last week (2-3 July), inspired by both Christmas and summer festivals.

Working with Lola Staffing, PR agency Fever and the in-house events team at PlayStation, Push designed the day-long event for both press and trade partners, with the theme of ‘Christmas in July’ to showcase the company’s festive gift offerings for 2014.

The event took place at The Dairy in Bloomsbury, London, which acts as an art gallery and creative event space.

The entire PlayStation range, which includes both software and hardware, was showcased at the events. A themed area was created to represent each game on offer.

A number of branded, 1950s vintage metallic Airstreams were used to create the feel of a festival experience. Cut grass, festival flags, oversized helium balloons and landscape prints were also included to further the chilled-out atmosphere. A large oak tree was lit as the centrepiece of the venue.
