The First Fabulous Fund Fair event, which was produced by agency Inca, saw the London venue transformed into a makeshift funfair to raise funds for Russian model Natalia Vodianova’s charity, which aims to construct modern play parks in urban areas throughout various countries.
A number of luxury brands hosted their own funfair stalls, including Guerlain’s super-model kissing booth, which allowed guests to have kisses and coffee cocktails with Vodianova, haute-couture face painting with make-up artist Pat McGrath, live fashion illustrations from Clym Evernden supported by Fendi and personal fashion predictions for 2015 from Swarovski’s fortune teller Suzy Menkes.
Guests could also try their luck on the Louis Vuitton hook-a-duck with Italian model Mariacarla Boscono, as well as a luxury jewellery lucky dip from Repossi with Edie and Olympia Campbell and the Christian Louboutin high-heeled Olympics with Daisy Lowe and Florrie Arnold.
An exclusive photoshoot with fashion photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino was also on offer, styled by Olga Sorokina of luxury Russian couturier Maison IRFE, and Stephen Jones hosted a coconut hat shy. Guests could also take on Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley at golf, super model Maryna Linchuk at ping pong, girl racer Jodie Kidd on a Scalextric track and football legend David Ginola on table football.
Food came in the form of treats from the Buta Festival of Azerbaijani Arts and chef Gizzy Erskine, a taste of Russia with traditional crepes and vodka from Ulyana Sergeenko and veggie hot dogs by Linda McCartney Foods provided by Stella McCartney.
Fashion model Karlie Kloss and American fashion journalist Derek Blasberg were on hand to serve Kloss’ vegan, gluten-free Karlie's Kookies, which were sponsored by luxury fashion brand Maiyet, as well as gourmet ice cream served by super model Eva Herzigova from the Dior ice cream cart. Moda Operandi candy floss was served by Lauren Santo Domingo, and everything was washed down with bubbles from Casanova Prosecco and custom cocktails. The Recipe was on hand to provide catering support during the event.
Warner Music provided the music on the night, which included Clean Bandit and The Disciples, while magician Dynamo was the star of a mind-boggling performance.
Talking about the event, Vodianova said: "This event had all the elements that excited and thrilled us when we were children, like ice cream, junk food and attractions, combined with the most incredible brands and personalities that we love as adults."
The event raised more than £330,000 towards the Naked Heart Foundation’s work with children with special needs and their families. The organisation has built 136 play parks to date, including three in the UK in London, Liverpool and Glasgow.
