In line with ’s current TV advert, the van has been travelling around the UK delivering ‘Mini fist bump moments’ – small moments that bring a disproportionate feeling of joy.
The vintage model, which was hired through Classic French Vans, has visited universities such as Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Cambridge, Oxford and Reading and handed out free pizza. The brand has also been pulling into London in time for payday, and was featured in Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway last Saturday (14 March).
Sarah Vernon, brand manager at Just Eat, told Event: "With this activity, we set out to try and make people's lives a little bit better by giving out free pizza. The fantastic response from the public has shown that we have succeeded.
"Using the truck has been a wonderful way to spread our mini fist pump campaign." She added that the sampling tour is continuing to run indefinitely.
