Throughout the period the event’s partner brands – Babicka, Snow Queen, Vestal, RubyBlue and St George Spirits hosted a number of consumer events across London.
These included tastings with the brands’ founders, cocktail and food pairing evenings, a vodka trolley experience, pop-up vodka restaurant and 'silent disco' vodka tasting event.
A trade focused cocktail competition also took place, where seven of London’s best bartenders descended on Soho venue 68 and Boston to present their vodka-based cocktail creations.
Fredrica Patalossi of The Drunken Monkey in Shoreditch was crowned the winner for her Shibusa cocktail, which was made using Babicka vodka.
According to event organiser Garnish Communications, more than 500 cocktails were served throughout the week, at bars, restaurants, pop-ups and even offices.
Given the success of the week-long event, there are plans for Vodka Rocks to return on a bigger scale next year, meanwhile a number of smaller vodka-focused events and tastings are set to take place over the coming months.
Nik Koster, founder, Garnish Communications, said: "It’s been great working with such interesting brands and excellent producers.
"We’ve started relatively small in the first instance but we’ve seen there is now real demand for vodka events, education, cocktail competitions and more. We’ve already started plans for next year and it’s going to be even bigger than 2015."
