The stunt was staged as a pre-event promotion ahead of the final round of the indoor motorcross series, which takes place on Saturday 1 March.

Freestyle motocross riders Dan Whitby, Samson Eaton and Arran Powley, who have been part of the Garmin Arenacross tour team for the last six weeks, showed off their skills to the crowds using freestyle ramps from the show to perform tricks. Whitby talked to the crowd using a headset microphone to describe the different tricks each rider was executing.

The motorcross team performed to the crowds four times throughout the day while a branded Garmin Arenacross RV truck was parked outside the London Designer Outlet shopping centre to promote the event, with the help of promotional girl Miss Arenacross.

The London event is the series showdown following events in Belfast, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Sheffield, which have been seen by over 35,000 spectators.
