Those who enter the space at London's Business Design Centre are met by the Ford ‘FiestaStylista’ stage, where four finalists from the publication’s search for a stylist competition battle it out for the top title.
They are showcasing their outfit creations via catwalk shows throughout the four-day event, with the winner to be announced at 2pm on Sunday.
Ford has also teamed up with hairdressers Rush, with staff on hand to provide braiding at its stage; meanwhile Jessica Nails is offering free manicures.
Swarovski is giving attendees the chance to try on its jewels, many of which are appearing on the Stylist Catwalk, and have their photo taken in front of a branded photo wall. The photos are then compiled into a mini-sized flipbook, so that participants can take a memento home with them.
A number of haircare brands are activating at the event, including Ghd, where a team of stylists are offering professional hair services from a space that resembles the backstage area of a catwalk show, meanwhile services including blow-drying are available from Aveda's hair salon.
Beauty brand Nars is offering mini-makeovers, and visitors can stop in at Clarins’ activation area to choose from a selection of 30-minute facials, available at a special Stylist Live price.
Birchbox has brought its unique beauty concept to the event, offering beauty lovers the chance to select samples of five products from brands including Benefit, Laura Mercier and Bioderma. They are then combined in a branded box for attendees to take away with them.
Pukka has created three separate rooms to reflect its tea varieties on the upper level of the exhibition space. The red ‘revitalise’ room, purple ‘relax’ room and green ‘detox’ room immerse passers-by in the brand’s world of teas, with special show prices available.
Waterstones has selected a range of its top fashion, beauty and lifestyle titles for a pop-up bookstore, and it is hosting book signings with many of event’s speakers throughout the four days.
Stylist magazine itself is activating at the event, via its Stylist Zone. Here attendees can learn about the publication’s history, take a sneak peek inside its fashion cupboard, design their own cover and meet members of the Stylist team.
The upper level also includes Feast Street, where attendees can stop off for a beverage or bite to eat from the likes of Green & Black’s, Shoreditch Grind, Anna Mae’s and The Botanist.
Those with VIP tickets can head to the VIP suite, which sees activations from Aveda, Godiva, Nars, Green & Black’s Ice Cream and Leighton Denny.
