Key features of the new space include an aluminium modular floor, which can be installed overnight to transform the venue’s sloping floor into a split-level flat variation for seated events that can host upto 720 people.
The floor can also be modified to include everything from fish tanks to fountains, ponds, hills and turf.
The renovations mean that the space can now host awards ceremonies, including Event’s very own , along with product launches, fashion shows, wedding receptions and ceremonies.
The venue has also recently installed a new in-house PA system and colourwash LED lighting system that can adapt to complement the ambience of each individual event.
Heiko Kacimi-Alaoui, deputy general manager at Eventim Apollo said: "Watching the venue transform so radically after years of underinvestment has been an incredible journey, and we already have further building upgrade plans in the pipeline.
"While music and comedy remain an integral part of the venue’s history of live performance, I’m excited to see how the corporate side of the business grows now that we can host seated events, kicking off in October with Event Magazine’s prestigious annual Event Awards."
