DRP Group was awarded gold for its work on the ENRC (Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation) 150 group conference in the best team building event category, and its work with Chiltern Railways for low-cost event solution of the year. The business also picked up silver for the same campaign in the best corporate responsibility category.
Tracy Halliwell, director of business tourism and major events at London & Partners, received the outstanding achievement title. Commenting on her win, she said: "It’s such an honour to be recognised by your peers and a truly wonderful surprise to have been chosen by the judging panel.
"Our industry is full of phenomenal talent who are pushing the boundaries to create incredible events, showcased by the work highlighted during this ceremony. I really am humbled to have been selected for this award and hope it shines a light on the outstanding events that are being delivered by our partners and friends across our wonderful capital."
Other winners on the night include Smyle, which picked up the agency of the year award, as well as the Eventia ROI commendation and silver for best product launch for client Blackberry. The company also won silver for best conference UK for Citroen/Peugeot.
Entertainment for the evening included performances from past and present contestants of The X Factor, including 2012 finalist Melanie Masson, Shelley Smith and Kingsland Road who are acts from this year’s show.
