The company highlighted the news at its annual Christmas conference in Salzburg, Austria.

DRP Group said a number of developments throughout the last 12 months contributed towards its improved performance, including the opening of a purpose-built studio complex in the Midlands, as well as 35 new members of staff joining the company.

Dale Parmenter, group managing director at DRP Group, said: "This year we’ve seen a lot of confidence return to the communications industry and all of our divisions have been incredibly busy. The team’s hard work throughout the year has ensured we’ve delivered not only great results for the DRP Group, but for our client’s as well.

"2014 won’t be without its challenges but with the team growing as it has done, our training and development programme continuing and some more exciting developments in the coming weeks I think we’ll be well placed to deliver a great 2014 for our team and our clients."

Parmenter was voted number five in the Event 100 Club 2013. The full list is published in The Guide 2014.
