Hosted by Little Britain star Matt Lucas and produced by Attitude magazine, the event included a gala dinner and awards ceremony attended by the likes of Daniel Radcliffe, Paul O’Grady and Cher who won awards, while Ellie Goulding put in a guest appearance.

The Eclipse team had only five and a half hours to set up the event at the Grade I-listed courts.

Between 4am and 8am, three trucks of staging, sound and lighting equipment were delivered to the venue, but no cables could be run or stands rigged because the courts were open as normal during the day.

At 5pm the team had just 90 minutes to complete the installation of the rigging and wiring. They built a 8m by 3m stage complete with starcloth backdrop and three metre-high glitter disks.

Andrea Witt, production manager at Eclipse, said: "We were delighted to win the pitch and be able to add copious amounts of production magic to the night.

"To do this in such a short timeframe needed some serious pre-planning, attention to detail and great teamwork. We were really pleased to deliver a fantastic event."

As part of the event’s design, Eclipse up-lit the building and reception hall in red – Attitude’s main brand colour – and while guests ate dinner the team transformed what had been the reception area into an aftershow space, complete with DJ set up, a 20ft by 20ft dancefloor, bubble sofas and white furnishings, plus extra lighting effects.

Nikhil Shah, project manager, said: "Our crew did an awesome job, delivering an amazing show whilst working to very tight rigging timelines. We hope to build on this to realise an even bigger and better Attitude Awards in 2014".
