7,000 people descended on Leicester Square for the premiere that was attended by stars from the film, including Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Alex Meraz, Booboo Stewart and Xavier Samuel.
Parkour specialist Storm Freerun entertained the crowds and performed at the after-party.
After the premiere, guests travelled to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office near Downing Street. The venue was transformed into a forest, with fresh pine trees supplied by Palmbrokers, and turfed with artificial grass from Reeds. Wooden logs dotted around the venue were used as tables and chairs.
Eye Candy provided the staff: female vampires were dressed provocatively in black with red contact lenses, and bare-chested werewolf men wore ripped jeans and yellow contact lenses.
LCI provided 360-degree lighting projections on the walls, with images of lightning, Twilight logos and music 'equalizer levels' that went up and down in sync with the music.
Nomad supplied a variety of canapés and bowl food, such as prawns and noodles, and boiled new potatoes with sour cream and caviar. Dessert canapés consisted of cheesecake and white chocolate pips with berries on a cocktail stick- guests had to eat the berries first before squeezing the white chocolate out.
Guests included director David Slade and Corey Monteith, who plays Finn in TV show Glee.
