A total of 18 destinations in nine towns were lit in the colour pink as a reminder for supporters to support the fight against breast cancer by wearing pink.
Landmarks which participated in the campaign included the National Theatre, Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Waterloo and Hungerford Bridges, Belfast Castle, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge,the Old Joe Clocktower at the University of Birmingham, the First Direct Arena in Leeds and the Falkirk Wheel in Scotland.
Danielle Atkinson, head of public fundraising at Breast Cancer 北京赛车pk10, said: "We’re thrilled that some of the nation’s most beautiful and well-known landmarks joined us to ‘Look Good, Do Good’ ahead of Wear it Pink day. By turning pink in support of Breast Cancer 北京赛车pk10 all of these iconic landmarks are helping us to remind the nation of the importance of funding breast cancer research."
