In pictures: Barbican's human trees

A troupe of 50 'human trees' paraded the streets of London yesterday to raise awareness of a new exhibition at the Barbican.

Radical Nature: Art and Architecture for a Changing Planet 1969-2009, will be on view at the venue until 18 October and will bring together 40 years worth of work from major architects and artists who have created visionary pieces for our planet.

The troupe took in many of the capital's key landmarks and interacted with the public through a variety of activities, before making its way back to the Barbican for the grand finale event.
