The 2.5-metre wide Bubble of Wonder creation is made up of more than 6,000 objects, including Christmas presents, pink bubbles and champagne glasses.
Grapes, raspberries and strawberries that highlight notes of the champagne have been matched to the Pantone blush of the Cuvée Rosé product and finished with frosting, mirrored surfaces and etched details.
The motion sensitive creation responds with a brighter glow when a guest approaches, and as individuals move closer they will be able to see objects that reflect the hotel’s east London locale, including the Gherkin and St Paul’s Cathedral, as well as a hipster moustache and pouting lips.
Designed by agency Front Room, the bubble is designed to inspire guests to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with Laurent-Perrier’s pink champagne. It will remain in place until 9 January.
The Andaz is hosting a social media competition throughout the bubble's residency, whereby those who upload photographs of the installation using the hashtag #BubbleOfWonder could win a magnum of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. The best image is to be selected each week throughout the period.
In addition, guests who purchase a bottle or glass of the champagne at the hotel will be entered into a grand prize, comprising a visit to the House of Laurent-Perrier in Champagne, France and a night's stay at the Andaz London Liverpool Street.
