The evening began with three seminar sessions. James Morgan, marketing director of Crewsaders, talked about making the most from client relationship management by applying strategies to each relationship. There was also an interactive session where everyone had the opportunity to apply his insights.
Bernie Mitchell of Engaging People gave an update about social media, reviewing the relevance and value of LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, and assessing many new social media initiatives.
James Allen, managing director of Creative Huddle, then talked about best practice for positive and effective creative thinking. He challenged the audience to work in groups to create new products and services and share ideas for further group development.
ISES is running a similar seminar at the ICC Birmingham on 22 October as part of its regional educational programme.
