The joint winners of Apprentice-style industry talent search The Eventice were announced as Peter Hunt, who won a job at George P Johnson and Abi Cozens who won a position at Tarsus Group.

The winner of The Next Big Thing entertainers competition was harpist Iona Thomas who bagged the prize – a contract with entertainment agency Sternberg Clarke – after beating free-style basketball entertainer Andrew Wildings.

Event editor Jeremy King chaired a panel discussion on experiential marketing, with panelists including Steve Smith, managing director of Ear to the Ground and Sally Durcan, managing director of Hotcow.

It discussed the state of the experiential sector in 2012, whether the Olympics will leave a lasting legacy and whether experience marketing would ever replace above  the line marketing.
