Following the release of Warburtons' latest spot "GoodBagels" starring Robert De Niro, Piers Morgan protested on Good Morning Britain: "One of the greatest actors of my lifetime is reduced to making bread commercials in a spoof?"
Pipe down, Piers. De Niro is hardly the first actor to bring in the dough by starring in a commercial, but he actually provides a stellar performance here. From his quip one-liners to the funny-yet-sinister ending for Mr Warburton himself, "GoodBagels" (a nod to his role in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas) is ambitious and an ad that I could rewatch.
