PETA ad campaign urges Scottish men to forgo meat and lose 'Moobs'

LONDON - Men are being urged to ditch meat in order to get rid of excess chest fat or 'moobs' in a new campaign from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

PETA ad campaign urges Scottish men to forgo meat and lose 'Moobs'

The billboard ad, which features the tagline: 'Dude Looks Like a Lady? Lose the

Breasts, Go Vegetarian' has debuted in Glasgow.

The ad has been designed to warn meat eaters that obesity cause 'moobs'. The organisation points to research showing that meat-eaters are nine times as likely to be obese as vegans.

According to PETA the campaign was launched in Scotland as the area has seen a massive 80% rise in the number of surgeries performed to address gynecomastia - excessive breast development in men.

Poorva Joshipuram director of special projects at PETA, says: ‘Unwanted breast development in men illustrates that there's nothing manly about meat and milk.'
