Pepsi Max "friend finder" by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO

Pepsi Max has released a film online showing what would happen if it were able to create a drone service that finds lost friends at festivals.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO worked with the directing collective MOD and the special effects company Asylum to create flying blimps with LED displays that were controlled by ground staff and could point lost festival-goers towards their friends. The ad, which is part of Pepsi's "what if" campaign and was shot at Wireless festival in London, gives a staged demonstration of the blimps in action. The crowds were real but it's worth stating again that Pepsi has not created a working "friend finder" service. The work was created by Nicholas Hulley and Nadja Lossgott. The production company was RSA Films.
