Morrisons takes out two consecutive pages in The Sun to advertise 6p off fuel for shoppers who spend £40 on groceries and for an Easter alcohol "price crunch". The ads also appear in The Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail.

Asda also offers "low prices" on beers, snacks and soft drinks in The Sun, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail.

Nisa takes out a full page in The Sun to promote frozen food for £2 while Tesco advertises reduced Easter lamb and beef in The Daily Telegraph, The Sun and the Daily Mirror.

Lloyds TSB, London 2012 sponsor, takes out an ad in The Sun to remind readers there are only seven days to go before ticket applications for the Olympics close.

Ikea advertises storage in The Daily Mirror as part of its wider TV campaign, pitting men's habits against women's.

Kodak gets in on the Royal Wedding excitement, with three consecutive ads in The Daily Mail and The Guardian promoting its photo printer. The ads read "Prints Charming. Say goodbye to middle tones. For richer not poorer".

Carphone Warehouse promises "juicy prices" on BlackBerry handsets in The Guardian.

Npower promises to beat renewal quotes by 10% if readers switch their business electricity supply, with ads in The Independent.

While Acer takes out a full page in The Guardian to advertise its tablet computer.
