Tesco is promoting gifts for loved ones as 14 February approaches with an ad in The Daily Mail.

M&S launches a Valentine's Day campaign across the press with consecutive ads promoting lingerie, champagne and roses. For those not treating their loved ones to a night out, an ad in The Daily Telegraph, The Sun and the Daily Express offers a dine-in meal for £20.

Waitrose also offers discounted food with meal for two ideas at £15 in The Guardian, The Independent, the Daily Telegraph and The Times.

Daily Mail readers are invited to "cook up some romance" by Morrisons, which is offering half price meals for two. The ad also appears in The Daily Telegraph, The Times, the Daily Express, The Sun and the Daily Mirror.

Asda, meanwhile, is trying to put Seabass on the menu in The Daily Telegraph and The Sun.

Sky hands Freeview viewers a "free pass" to Sky 3 this weekend in ads across the papers. The broadcaster is also pushing the start of new series 'Mad Dogs' on Sky 1.

With British Gas offering free insulation for customers, Homebase rolls out a deal of its own. The homeware store offers a Bogof for insulation across the Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, the Daily Express, The Sun and the Daily Mirror.

The Unite union has taken out a full page in The Guardian in support of cabin crews' ongoing battle against British Airways. The ad outlines the reasons for strike action and calls for public support.
