P&G unveils iTV and web push for Fairy

P&G has launched an interactive TV ad for Fairy Liquid and Fairy Non-Bio. Designed by Grey Interactive, it supports Fairy's promotion with Disney's new blockbuster, Treasure Planet.

Interactive TV users watching on Sky will have access to an exclusive trailer, games for mums and kids, Fairy's 'collect toys' promotion and the chance to win tickets for the film.

The interactive ad can be accessed from the Fairy Liquid and Fairy Non-Bio TV commercials. In both cases, a banner saying 'Get toys press red' will appear at the top left-hand corner of the ad.

Pressing the red button on the Sky remote will take viewers to an interactive site that introduces the animated toys and gives options to either view the trailer or play the games 'Kit a Pirate' or 'Make a Ship'.

P&G is also running an online version of the iTV site (www. fairytreasure.com) to reach as many households as possible. Links are running on web sites including AOL's parenting area and Disney affiliate sites.

Shuvo Saha, head of interactive marketing UK at P&G, pointed out: "P&G is a strong believer in encouraging consumers to participate in the whole brand experience."
