Oxford Street will be closed-off to traffic on Saturday, transforming the area into a traffic-free zone.

Selfridges, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Primark, McDonalds and Boots will provide live music, in-store offers, promotions and themed entertainment to keep visitors entertained.

Among the attractions will be 13m-high model of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a 10m-high space rocket to celebrate the UK film release of Night at the Museum 2, and the world's largest pass-the-parcel game.

The West End is expecting to welcome record numbers of May Bank Holiday visitors to the capital this year as families increasingly choose to holiday in the UK.
