Orr and Tildesley appointed to IDM education mission

LONDON – The Institute of Direct Marketing has appointed Dawn Orr, UK data group leader of Acxiom, and Mike Tildesley, marketing director of Royal & Sun Alliance Personal Lines and More Th>n, as trustees of its Education Trust.

The Education Trust was set up to bring the most talented students into the direct, data and digital profession. Its 11-strong team of trustees includes Adam Novak, Professor David Miles and John Watson, and is chaired by Barrie Spelling.

Spelling said: "Everyone on the team is delighted that Dawn and Mike have joined the trust to help us in our mission to engender greater support from the business community for the IDM's many educational initiatives. Each has a real passion for the profession and we are confident it will have an infectious effect on everyone the trust touches."
