Orange opens site to lure stakeholders

Orange has launched a web forum as part of a strategy to engage with the market and share key research findings.

The Orange Future Enterprise Web Forum aims to provide a community-based platform to encourage dialogue with stakeholders on mobile issues.

It will host discussions on research findings and business themes generated by the Orange Future Enterprise Coalition. The forum's launch follows the release of the coalition's first white paper in March.

The Coalition - a think tank of people from academia, business, legislation, consultancy and technology - was set up by Orange to analyse the impact of new technology on enterprises.

The forum plans to make its findings available and give a selected group of coalition members and guests access to the site on a registration basis.

Users will be able to post questions and contribute to discussion streams on the site, which will include polling systems, a favourite links manager and document store.

Digital agency SixandCo, part of FullSIX Group, built the site.

Patricia Cole, e-marketing manager of Orange Business Services, said: "By sharing research, both negative and positive, Orange is engaging with the market and helping to enable customer organisations to make informed choices and increase efficiency."
