The communications company will trial a charger that captures kinetic energy created by dancing and uses it to recharge a mobile phone.
Orange's Chill n' Charge Tent will also return to allow festival goers to charge their phone at one of the 600 charging points or hop online at one of the 32 broadband points.
Festival goers can also download a Java application with an interactive map of the grounds, which features the latest festival information.
Hattie Magee, head of partnerships at Orange UK, said: "Orange is proud to have been the official telecommunications partner of Glastonbury Festival for the past 10 years.
"We've been involved in some great promotions and innovations and 2008 is sure to deliver even more amazing stories and experiences from the farm. It may have rained at the festival over the last few years but it'll take more than that to dampen the spirits of the UK festival goers."
Orange's Spot The Bull online competition is back for 2008. Players can win eight tickets each to Glastonbury by guessing where the bull will be standing in the field at 3pm each day.
Glastonbury Festival 2008 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, from June 27-29. Acts this year include The Gossip, The Feeling, Massive Attack, The Wombats, Pidgeon Detectives, Scouting For Girls and Jack Penate.
